Solving challenging problems, including puzzles, is one of the hobbies that keeps me entertained.
The Brittish spy agency GCHQ makes some of the best. In 2016 I put some effort into their Christams Quiz and was one of the few people who made it to the final round of submissions.

One of my favorite types of puzzles do not include any instructions for the solver. Below are a few short write ups to get you started on, what you might find to be, a different class of challenges.
